Before You Write: Making the First Message Count

The most useful first emails we receive are short and specific. You do not need a polished brief to get in touch, but a few details help us understand where you are and whether we are the right fit. If you can, tell us a little about your business, who your customers are, and what you would like to change: more foot traffic to a shop, a clearer brand, a product launch, or simply a better sense of where to start.

Helpful things to include

• Your business in one or two lines: what you sell or offer, and where your customers find you.
• The challenge or goal: a campaign idea, a website that is not converting, packaging that feels out of date, or a team that wants practical training.
• Timing: whether there is a season, opening or event you are working towards.
• What you already have: existing logos, photos, social accounts or past campaigns, even if you are not happy with them.

People interested in learning skills themselves rather than hiring a studio often start with our workshops.

Working in English or Spanish

We are based in Bogotá and are comfortable corresponding in either English or Spanish, so write in whichever language feels most natural to you. Clients outside Colombia are welcome; much of the early conversation can happen by email or video call, and we will agree on a schedule that suits both time zones.

Every message is read by a person, and we aim to reply with either a few clarifying questions or a suggestion for a short introductory conversation. There is no obligation at that stage: the goal is simply to understand your situation and talk honestly about whether, and how, we can help.
